”I have a duty to serve my clan and my clans deity. I protect those that come under my care, even if they are the most bad of people. Everyone deserves a second chance at life.” Rune was born in the Valley of Shadows in its infancy to a Pearlcatcher named Spiftfire and Seliana in the beginnings of the clan. Her mother and father were overjoyed as they had a newborn in the world. Most of the time the young pearlcatcher spent her time with her father, as she wanted to learn about the world and how things worked. Which in turn helped her to become the resident healer to the Valley of Shadows. She had spent little time with her mother, when she was but a hatchling. But when she had heard that her mother had went into the dominance battle, she also had became the link to the clans deity, as she often tried to find her mother in prayer... When she was a adolescent pearlcatcher, she found herself spending more and more time out in the forests that were in the Tangled Wood to find plants and herbs to make healing potions and among other things that would help the clan. Because she is often about in the woods of the Tangled Woods (or nearby a place that has plants that can be used for medical reasons) she usually sets up a temporary home away from the rest of the clan. It was early one morning when she was in her little cabin in the woods when Umbra, her clan leader had brought in a new dragon that had a nasty looking wing that was bent out of shape and sticking out from a weird angle. She shook her head and signed. ’Who knows what happened to you?’ She thought to herself as she started looking for healing supplies to help the Imp known as Prism. Eventually the two dragons became stuck together like Bumble Wax and were never separated from each other as time progressed. Prism and Rune were so stuck together as a pair is that they went on adventures together, with Rune patching up the Imp every time that he got hurt while exploring. Rune knew that they would be gone for awhile while on these adventures, so she taught some of her clan members basic health potions in case someone ever got hurt while she was away. |
