Starflight

The Twisting Crescendo - the powerful storm that has raged since ancient times. This clash of energy is so powerful that occasionally, a smaller storm is thrown out into the surrounding landscape. These storms usually end up in other parts of the world, sometimes close by and sometimes not, and soak up nearby elemental magic. If a storm soaks up enough magic, it takes on a corporal form and becomes a living being.

Meteor Showers were created when Cyclones were tossed over the small inlet to the north, landing in the Starfell Isles among the rising magic. Similar to the Solarflares, the Meteor Showers are avid pursuers of knowledge, but in their case they enjoy the mysteries of magic rather than fact rooted in studies. They explore the world with an avid hopefulness, using their roots in the Wind Singer’s domain to travel quickly by the winds. Meteor Showers are sometimes known to create magical portals, usually to unknown destinations within Sornieth, though these very rarely are purposeful or last more than a few moments. Through much magical research, a Meteor Shower can learn to partially control these portals, though it is extremely difficult, often leaving a streak of light as they travel.
