Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Laus initially came to the Clan at a young age, nothing more than an idle traveler. He wasn't there to study the stars or to investigate the observatory like so many others. He had left his Clan behind, simply eager to see what he might find, paying his way with coin earned from simple songs he sang to charm the dragons he met along the way. He managed to get quite far in a remarkably short time, traversing as far north as the Viridian Labyrinth before his wanderings lead him south again, first into the Sea of a Thousand Currents and then back into his native Sunbeam Ruins, where he fell in with a seemingly lone Mirror female for a short while. She spoke little, and Laus was alright with that. He had traveled alone most of the time, and he found that silent company was better than none. When they came to the observatory called the Luminarium, the quiet Mirror spoke up at last, telling Laus that he was welcome to stay as long as he pleased, and that the residing Clan wouldn't mind the company of such an exuberant young dragon in their midst. Laus didn't stay, not at first. He lingered for a days, resting and entertaining the visiting students with song and elaborate aerial dances worthy of a Skydancer. But the desire to travel overtook him, and the bright-hued youth wandered away again. Laus traveled south this time, through the Shifting Expanse and crossing into the Windswept Plateau. There he lingered for a time, too, finding compatriots in the peaceful Wind dragons. He signed on with a Clan of Spirals and Skydancers, a traveling troupe of entertainers who took delight in his ever-joyous attitude and his readiness to learn from them. The young Imperial honed his skills for a time, learning to emulate the intricate dances of the much smaller and more flexible dragons. He became quite nimble, and his magic grew deeply powerful, linked intrinsically with his musical talents. At each show, Laus used his voice to paint intricate arrays of colored light to dazzle and amaze the audiences, and he soon began to enjoy a bit of fame. But the desire for something... permanent began to call to him, and he remembered the words the Mirror had told him back at the observatory. It was a hard decision to make, but eventually Laus decided to leave the troupe to return to the Luminarium. To his surprise, the Mirror was waiting for him on the edge of the fledgling Light Clan's territory. "How did you know I'd be back?" he questioned. "I told you you'd find a home here," she told him simply. Much to Laus's surprise, the young Clan welcomed him back with nary a question, just as the Mirror had. He hasn't left since. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮

Occasionally, when Adamas travels to the Starfall Isles, he'll accompany her, simply to satisfy his wanderlust, something the Clan doubts he'll ever grow out of. If Adamas isn't courierng anything, he'll even wander off with Luus for a few days, although he tends to return before her to give her some space.
Lately he's been collecting stories about the Clan from Soleil and Carpo, and composing ballads for each member of the Clan.
