Noire

Noire, the shadow of death.

This woman is the most vicious, vile, menacing coatl ever to grace the likes of Cielvoler. Emerging from the depths of the Obscured Crescent, it was clear from the very beginning that she was never meant to be a member of this clan. She hates flight, LOATHES flying dragons. Every time one soars over her head she debates whether or not to strike it down and strip it of its ability to fly for good. She's power hungry and merciless, joining Cielvoler only with the intention of one day building an army strong enough to overthrow Calfoute. Her mind process was that skydancers have always been an inferior breed to coatls due to their stick like figures and lightweight bodies. She'll express this disdain openly, turning away from any skydancers who attempt to speak with her, including Calfoute. However, due to the legends surrounding her, no one yet has dared to attempt to throw her out.

She always has a serpent slithering around her neck at all times. Rumor has it that she gargles with its venom in order to poison any who cross her. Although he's very quiet and does not wish to talk about it much, Norsvenor will confirm that she caused the death of his brother. If you ask her about it, she'll brag haughtily. "What's another fallen skydancer? They're useless to this world.'' Similarly Gracile will proclaim that Noire caused the death of her daughter Zia as well. However, despite the overwhelming evidence against her, Noire will deny this fact for reasons we will never know.

The only dragon who appreciates her harshness is Pontus, her mate. With his intention to seize the skies for Tidelord and her intention to rule a clan over with an iron fist, they make a pretty good pair. She identified him immediately as being "not so bright", and thus he follows her around blindly. Part of that is because, like most dragons, he's afraid of her venomous capabilities and quick-to-act aggression. This thus strengthens their relationship, as through his loyalty she's offered him protection, which he highly appreciates due to previously receiving nothing but flack from other clanmates.

In regards to flying she's a speed flier, which is an irregular flight for coatls to be. Nicknamed the "shadow of death", her speed causes her to streak in the air, looking like a moving shadow entity across the sky. Her crackle helps her achieve this feat, as it looks like spiritual residue when it blurs.
