"For the sky, we fly"- Cielvoler
Clan Info
Hello friends! Welcome to my Draconian world of Draconic Chronicles! Here you will find beautiful dragons all throughout whose color schemes tend to inspire me personally. You'll see them in my stories eventually! As for my clan Cielvoler, the information is below.
For the sky, we fly. This clan of feathered dragons is known for its legendary flight patterns. Being a clan of avid vagabonds, they devote their lives to travel and to riding the winds above Flight Rising. Their belief is when Windsinger created the winds, his intention was for them to be flown upon and enjoyed by all dragons. Thus, this clan spends their days flying in order to please themselves and offer tribute to their Flight.
Four kinds of flight are practiced in this clan: trick flight, high flight, speed flight, and choreo flight. Trick flight is a very showy flight, known only by those with stellar aerodynamic skills. Gracile is the best trick flyer in the clan, as she's able to swirl and loop as if she were pulled by invisible strings. Trick flight involves many loops, swirls, quick dives and more in order to impress and amuse both Windsinger and any dragons gazing upwards from below. High flight, practiced mainly by the coatls, focuses on a dragon's ability to fly as high as they can straight up into the air before diving with hasty swoops to "bring the winds with them". It's a very difficult type of flight, as the air gets thinner the higher you go, but it is important as it can have the ability to break wind currents if executed properly. Speed flight is very self explanatory, flying as fast as physically possible. Swallow is notorious for this. Her flight is so fast that once she picks up speed she is no more than a streak in the air. This makes for very effective attack from above and aids in cutting through difficult currents such as those from storms. Finally, choreo flight, to date, has only ever been successfully executed by one dragon in Cielvoler, Calfoute. Calfoute has the ability to create and teach his clan different flying routines based on their skills and direct them with his body cues. Because of this, he leads the flock, for with a few body motions he can get full groupings of dragons to fly in patterns that he directs. It is a very difficult art form, yet very pretty.
The leader, Calfoute, would be happy to make your acquaintance if you wished to stay in his clan. Their travel is extensive, as explained earlier, and they would happily put on a show for any clan given in return they're granted places nearby to rest. So welcome, and see you in the skies!
I'm three hours ahead of FR time.

Acerian was on the front page! Gorgeous ( though I'm sure he need not hear anymore of that ;) ). I loved your bio for him, as well!

hey, just saw you were around the forums recently, so I thought I might check in to see how you're doing?
Not sure if you come around anymore, considering your dragons's health, but I wanted to say that Sokolade is absolutely beautiful :)
Not sure if you're around right now, but, if you are, hello again :D
