Dancing through life

In her youth, Merry was one of the main performers in the troupe, but these days she's more-or-less retired. However, she does give advice and instruction to the younger performers in the troupe and has helped with more technical aspects of their shows, which she is plenty happy to do.

She also considers keeping Peregrin in good spirits her job. She finds that he can be overly serious at times, which is no good for the health of any dragon, she figures. He's usually reluctant when concerning such attempts, but she knows that deep down, he appreciates it.
He wouldn't keep wearing the Marigold crown she made for him otherwise.
