Biography

Abii

Ripped at the seams
Feverish and screaming with muted lungs
Tearing through the paper and ink
Just wanting to be done
He can't swim only ever sink
Fear unreachable
Death is desirable

Novelist / Creative Writer

He was so sick. Throwing up and stumbling around in his tiny home. His skin was feverish and everything was too cold or too hot and nothing felt right to his addled mind. He tripped and fell, hitting something on the way down - glass shattered on the ground and whatever was in it splattered across the floor, dripping off the above counter.

He woke in a healer's den, was soon transferred to a doctor, and not long after he was released and sent to a therapist who explained everything.

The fever had destroyed parts of his brain. His emotions were dumbed down now, not gone, but muted, like a too-loud TV in another room with the doors shut. He could still feel happy, could feel depressed, he could get angry and desire for company. However, he couldn't feel afraid. Somehow, of all his emotions and reactions and facial expressions, fear and terror had slipped right through and was now far out of his reach.

Abii was out of writing horror novels for a while.

Abii is a quiet resident of the clan, staying in his lane, as he once mentioned to Gelhart in passing. The others tend to avoid him as well, put off by his apparent lack of survival instincts and how he never hesitates to speak with the demons and gods of the clan. He's known to refer to these powerful beings as "friends" and "inspiration" with a rather blank way of going about it; like he doesn't quite mean whatever he's saying.

He doesn't hide his disabilities, and his constant visits to outside healers and doctors can be easily used to deduce that, even after years of his current state, his sickness has persisted. Abii is a victim of a poor immune system, often getting sick, though he calls it allergies.

He's recently gotten back into writing, but no longer the kind of novels he used to type up. Now he writes from the point of view of the killer, of the monster - he understands them better than he knows the victims of his novels.
