Life 1 - SiYin
Lazy • Simple • Immature
In her first "life", BaiQian was known as SiYin. She was brought by a family friend and awesome wine brewer, ZheYan, to become a disciple of the high god MoYuan, who was also the God of War. Because he only took in male disciples, her appearance was changed into a male, and she was given a new name, SiYin, to get in. MoYuan, being a very powerful god, obviously saw through it, but a magical fan had chosen her to be it's owner, so he let her in. During this life, she trained with him, was also known as "Seventeenth", since she was the seventeenth disciple of MoYuan. At least, she was supposed to be studying. Instead, she loved to visit the mortal realm with Sixteen, and try to earn money by fortune telling, an art she learned from MoYuan. In-evidently, they ended up causing lots of mischief. Her life as SiYin ended when MoYuan sacrificed his soul to the DongHuangZhong, a bell he created, and gave to the Ghost realm as a peace offering. The Ghost leader, QingCang, opened it up, and it started sucking the whole world up. In order to save the world, MoYuan sacrificed his own soul, to seal it until it was opened again, trapping QingCang in it for 70,000 years. Before he left, though, he transferred the knowledge of how to seal the bell to SiYin, which was some sort of a magical spell. Here's a ref of her as SiYin (from drama)
Life 2 - Su Su
Sensitive • Selfish • Simple
70, 000 years after QingCang was trapped, SiYin traveled to the DongHuangZhong, knowing QingCang would break free if she didn't seal it. Using the spell MoYuan taught her, she sealed it, but since she wasn't powerful enough, she could not seal it for 70,000 years, and was also cursed by QingCang to become a mortal (considered punishment for them immortals) for a life, never knowing who she really was. Before she traveled there, though, she gave the scroll with the spell to her niece, BaiFengJiu, and trapped her in a deep sleep for 3 days, with a bell alerting DongHuaDiJun, the most powerful god in the world there, after 3 days was up- DongHua knew BaiFengJiu, and BaiQian wanted the spell to be in good hands, since she knew something would probably happen to her. In this life, Su Su woke up in the mountains as a mortal, but was soon met by the Immortal Crown Prince YeHua, who fell for her. He told her he was a mortal, and soon, she fell for him too. They got married, but he didn't tell her the consequences of their relationship, mainly being killed by the Heavenly Emperor, his father, who would never let him have a relationship with a mortal. That was almost exactly what happened. YeHua loved her so much he wanted to sacrifice his whole life to be with her, so during a fight, he tried to get severely injured, and fake his death. But, Su Su, who had waited for him a long time in the mountains, got worried when she heard something about him 'not being able to make it' through the copper mirror, their "telephone". She fled from her house, thus leaving the protective bubble YeHua had cast over it. Su Su was also pregnant at the time, and the gods immediately tracked her down. YeHua was forced to treat her coldly in front of others, since he wanted her to be able to live. SuJin however, really wanted her dead, as she saw her as a threat, since SuJin loved YeHua. SuJin jumped down ZhuXian terrace (a terrace that gods jumped down to be stripped of their powers (basically die), but if mortals jumped down, they would die), making it seem like Su Su had pushed her, losing her eyes in the process. YeHua knew of SuJin's devious ways, but he was forced to pretend Su Su did push her, since nobody believed Su Su. He took out her eyes, and somehow gave them to Su Su (hey...they're gods...right). He never told Su Su he had to endure 3 lightning strikes a day because of her, as he didn't want her to worry. All of these events led Su Su to believe YeHua didn't love her anymore, and loved SuJin. After she gave birth to her child, whom she named A-Li, meaning "to leave or depart" in chinese. Manipulated by SuJin, Su Su jumped down ZhuXian terrace, thinking it would take her back to the mountains she was in before, since that's what SuJin told her. Instead, it would've killed her, but since she's actually BaiQian, it broke QingCang's curse, and she was transported to the Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms Forest, ZheYan's place, quite close to her home. She was turned back into BaiQian, the queen of the Fox clan. Ref of Su Su. Should have translucent white silk in front of eyes (blindfold), but I can't find a picture of that (from the drama)
Life 3 - BaiQian
Lazy • Defiant • Teasing
Her third life as BaiQian might've been the most confusing one of all- Once she arrived back in the Peach Tree woods, she took a medicine/soup ZheYan provided her which erased everything she wanted to erase from her memory, namely her life as Su Su. She still believed YeHua didn't love her back, and the heartbreak was just too much to bare. Since she was Queen of the Fox Clan, she was invited to lots of parties, and finally accepted one. As a goddess, BaiQian could still see, but her eyes were sensitive to light, as her eyes had been taken out when she was mortal. BaiQian was kind of old, and was addressed "Gu Gu" by other gods and goddess, meaning Aunt in a respectful way, to elders. She was also betrothed to YeHua, whom she had forgotten about, and was 70,000 years younger then her. At the dinner party, she ran into YeHua and ALi, and they both recognized her as Su Su. She was so confused! She was invited to the Heavenly Palace, and it's not like she could refuse. Basically during much of her third life, she got to know YeHua, and eventually loved him back. Once he figured out she was SiYin (also knew she was Su Su from the start), believed she like her old master, MoYuan, since she used to feed him a bowl of her blood each day, in order to preserve his body. This complicated their relationship, but it was all good when YeHua helped MoYuan wake up earlier by defeating and killing the four mythical beasts that guarded a special herb that would help MoYuan wake up, as well as most of his cultivation, losing an arm in the process. Another complication was her past life as Su Su. They still didn't work that out, but BaiQian eventually remembered. She was mad at YeHua for a long, long time, up until he sacrificed his soul, when she realized she loved him anyways. During YeHua's mortal trial, since he killed the four mythical beasts, she stormed over to SuJin's house in the Heavens, and reclaimed her eyes. So now she can see. Long story short: Since MoYuan's soul was out of the bell, it opened up again, another war started, blah blah blah. Finally, YeHua sacrificed his soul, to the dismay of BaiQian, and basically died. But, 3 years later, they figured out he wasn't dead! Yay! Since he gained a lot of cultivation from defeating the four mythical beasts, and so he only had to use a certain amount of cultivation to seal the bell! So, they lived happily ever after...
