B I O G R A P H Y
Voltage is a bit...erratic, to say the least. Where other representatives of the Lightning flight retain at least some semblance of order, sticking to their rigid schedules and quotas while maintaining an air of wild creativity about them, the Nocturne never seems to stay in one place, on one thought, in one state of being. She's flitting about the campsite, testing brand new inventions to get rid of snow or raise the water level so she can go for a swim in the freezing waters- and while she isn't causing chaos with her tirades, she falls asleep studying in the library, looking through hundreds upon hundreds of books for inspiration, sipping away at coffee stolen from Altena. Her real name is unknown, as is the status of her home lair, hell, her parents while we're at it- all that's known is that she arrived at camp one day with nothing but the clothes on her back, her trusty Sprite, and a glint in her eye.In reality, it was rather simple; her home clan was a lair full of dragons devoted to efficiency and efficiency only, training up the dragons with the least creativity to become faithful workers for the Stormcatcher, while those with the creativity and drive were hired by other clans to help out with issues and equipment they needed. Voltage fell into the latter category, being a rather...peculiar type, but unlike the rest, with practical plans, her inventions were often outlandish and, worst of all, inefficient. The amount of energy needed to power her planned time machine was massive, and her robots had far too much free will, in their eyes. So they sent her on her way, allowing her to keep her works thus far and scrapping what she didn't take for more 'useful' projects. Little did they know just how far the outcast would go- as she darted through the desert, collecting the static in the air for her own purposes, the powers above that governed the Expanse saw the potential in her. Yes, indeed, even the Stormcatcher in His mighty office above believed that she deserved a 'promotion' of sorts, and in the middle of a night where she went out to scavenge for food, she was struck by a bolt of lightning, sending her tumbling from the sky and screeching in agony. No, it didn't strike her beautiful wings, but somewhere in her spine; her legs were as good as shot, and as she struggled to drag herself around, she quickly realized her first real emotion, not something forced on her or imitated out of instinct.
