"Oi, we got a new guy here! You lookin' for a job, or do you wanna hire us to do your dirty work?" The deep blue Wildclaw yells right in your face, presumably having little interest in the ears of others, but she's smiling and you're inclined to do the same. After all, you don't want to displease such a feared mercenary leader as her.

Welcome to the Hezul Mercenaries. The small camp is filled with small, sturdy buildings, all stationed around a central bonfire kept alight by the local blacksmith, who uses it for his craft as well as for heat in the icy fields. The largest building, the library, points towards the north, and inside many of the mages located in the area study their craft. To your left and right, you spot many warriors training themselves, and the blue dragon seems to be chatting with a calmer, quieter Wildclaw, who cracks a sharp-toothed grin at what seems to be a joke. He looks at you looking at him, and the glare he gives strikes fear into the deepest reaches of your soul.

...Maybe you should go home. There are plenty of criminals here, after all, and you were always warned not to head down to the places where even the most notorious of assassins, arsonists, and thieves could escape imprisonment by the Icewarden. But something compels you to stay- and you find that maybe your first thoughts were incorrect.
