Nor is Tic's mate pre-accident, who was devastated by him vanishing. Knowing Tic was experimenting with immortality and time travel, they decided to make use of his research for immortality and found it for themselves in symbiosis with plants. Hoping to find Tic at some point in time.

What was several hundred years for Nor, was merely a few weeks to Tic until they came cross eachother in the rainforest not far away from the mangroves that the clan calls home. While they at first had trouble recognizing eachother, they quickly fell back into comfortable closeness.

These days you will hardly ever see one without the other being close.
