For a dragon so true to her Flight's famously passionate and determined ways, one would probably expect her to have been born of a long line of Fire Flight dragons. In truth, however, that is not the case at all. Not only were her parents not of the same dragon breed - her father was a Coatl named Romeo and her mother a Wildclaw named Heth - but neither of them were tied to the Fire Flight; Romeo was a Water Flight dragon and Heth was of the Wind Flight by birth. In all likelihood it was probably her father who played the primary part in what Flight Scarlett and her siblings were born into; Coatls' natural instinct is to return to the Emberglow Hearth to raise their young, so it's quite possible that he convinced Heth that it would be the best place for them to hatch and raise their own offspring.

Of all her siblings, Scarlett stood out as the most competitive and dominant from the very day she emerged from her egg. When it came time to feed she made sure that she was always the first to eat, and was not afraid to assert herself over her fellow hatchlings. True to the ways of Fire Flight dragons she steadily became more and more passionate about what she loved; in this case, this meant an increased interest in and dedication to becoming as strong as she could. Though quite proud of her fiery heritage, she remained loyal to her parental figures. From her Water Flight father, she learned that intuitiveness and fluidity would make her an even more formidable opponent. From her Wind Flight mother, she learned that more adventure could be found if she explored territories anew... and thus, when she reached adulthood, that's exactly what she did.

Just as the smallest ember can ignite a blazing wildfire, so Scarlett grew from a small hatchling into an adult Wildclaw of exceptional strength and potential. She parted from her parents on good terms with them; to this day she never forgets to visit each of them every now and again. As she set off on her own journey she made it her business to find a new clan to be a part of - one that would not restrict her love of wandering far and wide in search of new challenges and that she could helpfully lend her strength to for the greater good. Of all things a Water Flight clan was not one that Scarlett would have expected to find herself joining, but she was convinced to become part of one after having become well acquainted with its two Mirror Dragon founders.

Scarlett is especially ambitious and notoriously determined in the face of difficulty or a challenge. She's the type of dragon one can immediately identify as being a leader. She can be very assertive and dominant in how she directs those under her wing, but ultimately her harsh tone and sometimes quite strict direction are only exercised for sake of the greater good of her allies. She is by far and away the clan's strongest fighter and leads her fellow warriors into battle with pride, striking first and striking hard so as to minimise the risk to those she cares about. Outside of combat she can be surprisingly casual and sociable. She gets along well with the current leader, the soft natured Snapper named Puanani, and is on respectable terms with the leader's prideful mate, Kaimana the Guardian.
