 The Great and Powerful CEO  |

The new top dragon on Clan Alys’ patch of land, Melira is the CEO of the newly established Alys Trading Co. While she hardly has any deep love of business, or any altruistic motivation to help other dragons with the trading, Melira does have a deep belief that this is simply her way of getting all the wealth and power she deserves. Her revolution was a complete success, as she deserves. Her trading company is doing very well, as she deserves. Xerces, the former ruler, has been overthrown and lies powerless (as far as Melira knows) in her dungeons. She holds a personal grudge against every member of Clan Alys who do not submit to her rightful rule, however.
The various dragons she swayed to her side agree that while Melira doesn’t seem to particularly care about anyone as an individual, she does see the value in ruling a happy, well fed clan, rather than a starving rebellious one. No dragon under her rule goes unfed, underpaid, or has a poor standard of living. Assuming, of course, they toe the line, do their jobs without complaint, and have no contact with any ‘undesirables’ from that ridiculous University. Those seen with undesirables are visited by the secret police, of course. The workforce of Alys Trading Co. (made up mostly of beast clan members Melira could buy off), goes along with it, seeing a distinct lack of ways out. As the head of the Trading Co. Melira spends a lot of time in the main office, delegating tasks to her underlings, sending them off to negotiate purchase and sales agreements, or do paperwork relating to the import of ice, or even fetch her coffee. Even with all this delegation, Melira spends quite some time on various forms. She loves it, seeing it as yet another way to use her power and wealth. She’s not exactly wrong. Melira has no life mate, nor any interest in one. That would mean she would have to share her wealth, her power, with an equal, something Melira has trouble believing could even exist. With the immortality serum Nikola is getting ever closer to finishing, Melira doesn’t even need an heir. She’s staying single. |
