Sykion and Hyperion
the night glows gold. the shadows are restless as two beings emerge from the golden light of the moon. their silver eyes are striking against their dark skin and golden tattoos. the taller of the two speaks but the language isn’t understandable. however, the words appear on the skin, glowing but still seemingly meaningless. the smaller one responds in the same incomprehensible language. the tattoos pulse with light as the words come out.
their shadows seem to retreat into their forms as they close their eyes.
the larger one shakes violently when suddenly a pair of golden webbed wings emerges from the shoulder blades and a pair of black wings sprouts from the lower back of the being.
the smaller slowly grows a large pair of wings that look as if they were made of glass. they grow right out of the being’s body and seem to only be connected by a few tendrils of light.
horns sprout from their heads as razor-sharp spines pop out of their backs and their hands lengthen into claws.
they jump in sync, shooting over ten meters into the air before their wings snap open and they fly into the golden night.
