His day job is peddling blood.

Is a surprisingly skilled singer like his mother. He and Doel sing together.

The open bone of his face is unexpectedly warm, and his mane equally takes one aback in how the scent and texture of the not-quite soft hairs bring to mind memories of a favorite childhood blanket. Despite his appearance, he instills a sense of comfort.

Despite being the brother-in-law to Illyn and Chrysanthi, through having been mates with Illyn's older sister, Kyla, his relationship with them is friendly acquaintances at best. He just isn't around them much.

It was a tough decision for Hemiola to remain in Clan Agnidoom when Kyla left, but she was wanting to move onto something new in life and Hemiola feels too at home in Clan Agnidoom to leave. Their parting was teary but amenable, and Hemiola remains on good terms with Illyn and Chrysanthi, who have taken to keeping him company more often than previously.
