Diodon

Diodon is quite a reserved ridgeback around strangers, always polite though, and will when he's comfortable with someone have a supply of poorly delivered jokes that he will often chuckle quietly about to himself. He loves Ampere with all of his being, and talks through her panic attacks and darkest moments.

Diodon and Ampere both came to the Wirestratus clan when it was barely a clan, and both assissted greatly with the set up of the Crystal Cavern. While Ampere continued her work with the crystals, Diodon, once the Cavern was built, prefered to work with numbers and mathematics, engineering some of the most efficient and effective machines and ways of working.

When Ebonsoul led the Monsters to the secret opening in the Crystal's shield around the territory and attempted to steal the Crystals to create awful weapons and black market machinery, Diodon much to everyone's surprise wreaked havoc on the invading monsters with his mate.

The two of them fighting was a sight to behold; with their sheer size and combined intelligence the two of them made a vicious team. Pestilence has a theory that these two usually reserved ridges were so devastating to the enemy due to the large amounts of hatchlings they had to care for.

- he dotes on all his children with so much love, constantly worried that one day Ampere isn't going to come back. some of the more mature or grown hatchlings are aware of ampere's problems and the danger of her job, and he makes sure to talk to them about their fears and her illness
- sometimes to take a break he will sketch pictures of the Cliffs, of the crystal cavern, of his children or of ampere
- he gets along very well with Boudicca, and they will often swim together in their free time and relax in the swimming caves. he regularly asks her for advice
- has a very strained relationship with Tempest, who he could never connect with and doesn't communicate with his family much at all
