Light dapples the ground of the quiet little shrine, casting a dim light throughout the area. Wind rustles the tree leaves overhead, the sound is distant, almost as if it were a memory. Oddly enough, the path itself is free of any moss or fallen leaves despite the place emanating the distinct impression that nobody has been here for a long while.

Time has come to a standstill on these sacred grounds, caught in a late midsummer's afternoon.

A golden Imperial- no, an Imperial statue sits beneath the shade of the central structure. It gazes out at the area before it. Watching. Waiting.
