The solar blades are a prosthetic to inject magic into her wings and help her fly. Her partner helps with maintaining the wings and keeping them clean, while her familiar keeps the magic in the gems topped off with energy. The gems in the wings suck in energy from the air and it's surroundings.

NAME was born out of an old tree, because it grew around her while she was in a coma. It gave her nutrients, and managed to keep her alive until she was found by my clan. This has caused some...side effects, to say the least. Once a month she secrets a sap-like honey and can taste delightful depending on her diet.

She also can no longer eat meat. Fish is fine, but she prefers vegetables and fruits. If she tries to eat meat, she'll end up bedridden for a week with food poisoning. Nobody knows for sure why she can't eat meat, but they have some theories. It could be due to how heavy in nutrients and fat the meat is compared to fish and plants. It could also be due to the fact that she was connected to the trees for so long.
