When Dunvarne was taught to catch insects, he discovered that not only was he good at it, but he also had an uncanny knack for finding the one leaf or blossom in a group that was mutated - four-leaf clovers and flowers with unusual color patterns. His Earth magic and his affinity for the Earth Flight values of remembrance and permanence are strong, and his dearest ambition in life is to build, or help build, a strong castle out of stone. To that end, he is studying levitation spells and masonry under those members of Clan Adeptica who specialize in those crafts.

Being the fifth child in his mother's 100 Hatchling Challenge, Dunvarne also strongly hopes that whatever clan he may end up in allows him to hatch at least one nest of offspring in his lifetime. If he does, his mother's dream will be one step closer to completion.
