______ Raspberry, although named after another fruit, is actually a magic watermelon.

______ No, really. That's what his clan call him, at least. You see, no one else knows how or even why, but for some reason, the dragon of few words seem to own some sort of magical powers. He can grow all sorts of plants in an instant if he wishes.

______ Raspberry sometimes does it unconsciously too. When his mood is elated, or is feeling bubbly—even with the rather hard to see through expression—living vines will suddenly emerge from the ground, or elongated from the nearest trees. Small shrubberies will pop out and bloom tiny white flowers. Berry bushes will ripen and provide delicious snacks.

______ That's why, he is good as the clan forager. He creates the fruits and veggies himself, nothing can beat that. But it's no secret that he loves watermelons most, and thus that's what he grows most often too. Whether in forests, or by the edge of the flower fields, there's always watermelon plants flourishing, thanks to Raspberry.

______ His nickname doesn't come only from his liking to watermelons, though. When Raspberry sleeps, he curls himself into a ball and use his large wings to wrap himself up.

______ Making him look like, well, a living magic watermelon.

______ "Ras, wake up." A gentle sounding voice roused his sleep.

______ Raspberry slowly opened his eyes, blinking at the darkness. He then moved his wings slightly, just enough to peer outside without letting too much light in to hurt his still sensitive eyes. He tilted his head at the sight of his mate smiling at him.

______ "Good morning," she greeted. "It's time to wake up. The clan needs to have breakfast."

______ He yawned in response, making her chuckle. Opening his cocoon, he pulled his mate forward slightly and leaned up to bump his snout on top of her head affectionately. As he pulled away, a tendril of watermelon plant crept from the ceiling, and dropped a single flower on her head, landing perfectly near her frill.

______ She smiled once more, and Raspberry silently thought she looked even more cute with the yellow watermelon flower. She then turned to grab the basket she had prepared, exiting their lair first to meet the rest of the clan.

______ Raspberry spent a few more minutes stretching and rolling around. After he was fully awake, he stood to exit the lair too—only to stumble upon a rather large watermelon that had popped up by his 'bed'.

______ Huh, he didn't realize that.

______ He picked the watermelon up in both hands, bringing it with him.

______ Breakfast.
