 		Arkar is fierce, assertive and fanatically devoted to the Gladekeeper. She was the one who established the clan rule that half of each nest must be exalted into service of the deity. She is also willing to exalt dragons from other clans that she manages to capture. Antonin barely managed to escape this fate, and a young Fae dragon named DarkShade from the Plague clan was the first dragon exalted by Arkar. Due to this ferocious level of loyalty the Gladekeeper granted Arkar land and food with which to start her own lair. The Gladekeeper also gave her a mate, Taka.

Arkar despised Taka at first sight. she decided he was ugly, cowardly and not worthy to be her mate. Only at the Gladekeepers instance did she have a nest with him. While caring for the eggs Arkar began to realize that Taka’s patience, persistence, caution and attention to detail were useful traits. His thoughtful caution provides a good balance to her headlong approach to life.

Arkar has invited several young Mirror dragons to join her lair. She admires their ferocity, and feels that they will make good weapons in her campaign to see the Gladekeeper as the dominant god. She welcomes any dragon into her clan that is willing to fight on behalf of the Gladekeeper, and any dragon not pulling their weight is at risk of being exalted, whether they want to be or not.

When not ruling her clan with an iron paw, Arkar enjoys patrolling her territory, encouraging the plant growth and fighting in the coliseum.
