When Virulent decided to poisons and venoms his profession, the other dragons laughed at him. He wasn't a plague dragon, he could never succeed. Wherever Virulent went, people didn't take him seriously, whenever he made a discovery, people swept it under the rug. Even though the plague scientist he worked with saw his brilliance, they were always given the credit, even if they tried to protest, to tell others what progress Virulent had made. Eventually Virulent gave up on trying to become famous in his field, after all, fame didn't matter, only that he made discoveries and used what he knew to help other dragons. And so Virulent settled down here, with his lover, in HeartWood.
