Mystic Love is a Shadow lady, born in an affluent family with good money and honorable surname. She is very tactful and intelligent and unfortunately enjoys money ans jewels more than she should. She can be very selfish and possessive of her objects, except with Arod.
This pearlcatcher has very refined mannerisms and cultured tastes. She sometimes teases other young men, like V, Night, and Jongsuk, which of course upsets Arod. (She doesn't like bogsneak men, because she thinks they're ugly. She likes imperials and spirals.)
Her reserved intelligence compelled Toothless to add her to the Council of the Phoenix Heirs, since she can be a merciless, unbiased punisher (which is her role, balanced by Junmai, the Pacifier). She is also the only member of the PH to also be part of the Dark Shadows. Mako had recruited her for the same reason Toothless had for the PH (only, minus the punishing). Mystic is an excellent cajoler and difficult to argue with.
Mako had promised her many riches when Gavrika returns; Mystic Love wants to give the money to her sick family in the Shadow Prisons, imprisoned by jealous rivals. Maybe she is not entirely selfish.
