Wind dragons are known for many things such as flying, gossip, travelling, cheerful attitudes. The Wind Stripes focus on a different aspect: SPEED. These dragons feel the call to movement unlike any others. It doesn't matter whether they're flying, running, swimming, driving, piloting: THEY GOTTA GO FAST.

History

The First Wind Stripes were a group of Spiral dragons that threw themselves into the Twisting Crescendo without much thought. They were immediately swept up by the eternal tornado at high speeds, always moving, never stopping, but not dying either. For a while, it was frightening, then the adrenaline kicked in, pushing their bodies to maneuver through gusts. It became thrilling, and just as quickly the Spirals were tired... and bored! With precise flying, the Spirals whipped themselves out of the Crescendo. After being in the cyclone for slow long, the Spirals found that the rest of the world seemed to stand still, everyone moving slowly, speaking slowly... until they realized that they were just moving very fast.

Today

Many Wind Stripes are going nowhere fast. Some love going fast for the speed. But most are highly competitive, wanting to be the first in everything. This is usually because few are faster, and they spend their whole lives naturally being faster. Speed comes with a price, as quality is often discarded, but to the Wind Stripes that learn patience comes great wisdom.
