Biography

arcane_banner.png~Jen of the Rising Sun~arcane_banner.png
Loyal to the Arcanist

As the Patriarch of Clan Marvel, one would think Jen has quite the job ahead of him. In reality, Jen spends most of his time buried in old tomes and scrolls, expanding on his knowledge. Very rarely does he make life-changing decisions, but one such decision he helped makes was the move from Arcane territory to Light territory. (He wants to return to the rule of the Arcanist, but Mysti argues that living under the Lightweaver is for the better.)

Jen is a sweet Fae and a benevolent leader, when he so chooses to lead. He has not an aggressive bone in his body, and could never be as stern as Mysti. Nevertheless, Jen is quite wise, and often imparts some of his knowledge on some of the young ones of the clan.

Although born in Arcane territory, Jen was a cocky and ambitious dragonling. Not long after he had matured into a full grown adult had he wandered into The Wandering Contagion. Very quickly he found out that it was a bad decision. Having no natural fighting instinct, he almost fell prey to a feral Mirror, had a fierce blue spitfire of a Fae saved him. Shocked, he swallowed his youthful arrogance and agreed to travel with her, partly for his own safety, and because he was smitten. Nowadays, Jen knows how to fight well, due to the harsh drilling of his fellow Clanmates, but prefers to pursue his dreams of being a scholar.

When he is not found marveling over a newly found tome, a good guess is that he is doting over his beloved wife, Mysti.

Mimi the Nature Sprite is a playful yet bashful thing. She is not quite as knowledge obsessed as Jen is, and occasionally can be found napping in a pile of scrolls. However, Mimi is every bit as kindhearted as Jen is, and enjoys playing with their little ones. Wherever she dances, small flowers bloom.
