Biography

Vrys is the leader and chief warlord of the Redstag Heralds clan, a Plague clan located in the Wandering Contagion.
Renowned and feared for her vicious methods, Vrys herself is something of a curious beast. With no formal education and a somewhat odd manner of speaking, in personal relationships she tends to be something of a neutral, if chaotic, force. She tends to avoid being overly cruel to those she works with or those who show respect to her, though she remains liable to turn on her allies if she thinks it'll help the overall effort.
She suffers from a scale condition caused by long-term exposure to the Wyrmwound's pollutants as a hatchling, which causes her to display brilliant, luminescent scaledust primarily on her wings. These scales flake off constantly and are unable to be processed by a dragon's body, causing them to be highly carcinogenic if inhaled. Vrys has learned how to weaponize this by shaking her wings, causing the dangerous scales to scatter and spread, both distracting and subtly poisoning her foes or targets.

Eh? What is this doing here? What does this have to do with my story? I don't even know what half of these mean! Heck, I don't know what any of 'em mean!!

Excuse my lack of fashion, Strato is still working on finishing my set. I still need a few gene scrolls, too. Maybe even a breed change? Being a mirror wouldn't be too bad. I mean, probably not, but if I ever get tired of my Pearlcatcher body, I could switch to something else. Just a thought.

Oh, I'm rambling. Sorry. I'm Akane, if you by chance didn't spot the bolded black lettering at the very top. I've got a story to tell, so sit down, shut up, and grab some popcorn because this might take a little bit. Etzili might even have to mess around with the template in order to add more room!

Remember what I said about Etzili having to mess with the template in order to make more room? Yeah, I wasn't joking. The character I'm based off of is literally her child, so of course, she wants to write a bunch for them. It's about time she quit freaking out about those Korean boys and wrote some lore.

Anyway. The character, Akane, is literally Etzili's pride and joy, so it's about time for her to quit letting them lay around in the back of her mind and start showing them some love! THEY'RE HER METAPHORICAL CHILD, FOR PLAGUEMOM'S SAKE.

CONTAGIOUS

____When Vrys was but a hatchling, she lived very close to the edge of the Wyrmwound, absorbing its disease and toxins and building up an incredible resistance to the contagion, at the cost of developing a scale condition. This condition causes her to develop and shed luminous, carcinogenic scales.

____At first, she was curious.
However, when she grew older, that innocent nature turned to angry and violent, not unlike the Ridgeback whose name she's long forgotten. She lashed out at a lot of things; her parents, her friends, even the birds who were flying by. Why? She doesn't know, Etzili's lost her inspiration and is just throwing out random things.

THE FAE

____Of course, the fae. Something about her soothed Akane. Maybe if was her light green wings, or perhaps her tangerine body, or possibly the kind peridot eyes that only showed wisdom. No, it was not of appearance. It was her personality. Her calm aura, her motherly habits. It was a good break to the constant stress Akane's been suffering.

THE COATL

____God, Seraphina was stunning. Everything about her awed Akane; when she was near, everything seemed brighter. When she laughed, Akane swore she could hear the jingling of bells. When she smiled, another star lit up in the sky. Her cheeks lit up and her heart fluttered; she was definately, 100%, for sure, in love with Seraphina.

THE IMPERIAL

____The imperial? Who, Redspring? Boreas? Vincenza? ...Oh. Her. Right, Morgana is a total weirdo. I don't get why Seraphina doesn't mind her company as much as I do. I mean, I totally disapprove of her friendship with Morgana. She's way too comfortable around her and it pisses me off. Also, how does she survive off of only a couple hours of sleep? Man, shadow dragons are weird. There's no way I'll ever come to terms with her. (Aaand Etzili just realized that this portion was supposed to be second person, not first. Right. She'll have to rewrite the whole thing again.)
