It happened too fast for such a union to be forbade; not more shade-spawn, children of the void and dark. Too late, yes, but not too late to properly educate. She was taught from birth how dangerous her powers could be, and how they could bring great ruin or great salvation, depending on the fortitude of her character. She took the logical path, eagerly absorbing every lesson given to her and promising with the strength of conviction only the innocent can offer, that she would devote herself and her power to shielding and salvation. Black burns around her, circumventing damage and protecting others, it's inky wisps fading away like starlight caught behind the clouds. Roza took after her father more, excitable but humble in her own ways; quick to adapt and curious, she would poke and prod for stories from her parents, smiling at them as she did. Though the power spoke to her- and she understood, like the glimmer of eyes in the night, beckoning- it wasn't going to convince her easily. She saw the way the mercenaries looked out for one another, and let that be her guide. Though it took a while for suspicion about her to ease, she is easy to get along with, a fast and loyal friend who will always take the hit for another.
