• Hekates is the Authority of Arcane, a name that connotes direct connection to their Deity; like the other Ambassadors, he, too, is extremely powerful. He draws his powers directly from the eldritch power of the Arcanist.
• As an example of his boundless power, he can create portals that open to any other place on Sornieth. He can telepathically communicate with other dragons, and he can move things with his mind. The veil of reality seems to shimmer around him.
• Hekates' presence heralds meteor showers and unreal phenomena. His presence is often foretold with a strange smell, almost that of cinnamon. He often brings precious gems, and he teaches astrology.
