Bug

Bug has always been… interesting. No one truly knows him. Bug doesn’t even really know himself honestly, he’s always been a bit spacey, out of it one could say.

He’s never traveled much and he only has ever really known a small portion of the world. He’s heard whispers of his bloodline before but he’s never paid much mind to them, what could be so bad about his family?



None of the other dragons really know where Bug came from, or really who Bug is. He appeared one day seemingly out of nowhere, and seemed to fit in as if he had been there forever. No one really questioned it since Bug wasn't harming anyone and mostly stayed quiet. That is until one day... when Bug decided to speak for the first time. He spoke softly at first almost as if his words weren't meant for other ears, but then he spoke louder as if directing his thoughts towards the others. Sadly, no one was quite sure of what he was saying, it sounded foreign in dialect and almost... ominous in tone. Still no one seemed to be bothered by his actions, it eventually died down after a few days of chatter and Bug went back to... well Bugs usual old, quiet, self. Every now and then however they hear the mumbles and cant help but feel... off.



Bug was never a talkative type, he was anti-social on the best of days, on others completely closed off. The darkened mirror showed up at his new lair at a young age. He was accepted by the many friendly dragons very quickly… but he still felt alone. It kept him up at night, it swallowed him whole. Loneliness was second nature to him. He didn’t seem to mind it.

An elegant skydancer seemed to always be around now. Bug knew her to be named Dawn, the “daughter” of Daifuku, at least that’s what everyone referred to her as. She came from territory not that far off, and visited fairly often. From his point of view, she was just another passing face. That is until one day. She spoke to him like an old friend, one evening as she was about to return home. The two spoke more often after that day. Becoming quickly close friends, both seeming to find ease in their discussions. The skydancer that stayed with him could be described in many different ways, his favorite way to describe her was ‘Comfortable’. He truly felt at peace to be around her. She understood him, she listened to him, she liked him, she made him feel less lonely. Bug was no longer alone, she kept that feeling at bay now. He liked it that way.

He never wanted to settle down, he never saw the point in it. Still doesn't. Dawn however wanted and heir. She also couldn't find herself ever nesting with another. Bug always told her he never minded her having another partner for a nest or even for love, but she was insistent she wanted it to be him. He gave it some thought and eventually settled with her, eventually having 2 hatchlings. He never knew how to be a father, and he didn't want to burden Dawn with too much, so he took the eldest back to be raised with his clan. Visiting the other and his love often to help as best he can. The one that stayed behind would be her heir, Gaia was his to raise in the less chaotic clan. Bug can only assume that's why Dawn named her Chaos. Bug can tell now and again Dawn has a sense of regret, or what he can only describe as regret when he sees her face. She never knew what she signed up for here, and Bug was never a family type. The hatchlings odd behavior only made him feel worse for not hiding away sooner. He can only hope she's happy and he's just being paranoid.

Bug Daily Updates (While in BioSkyFall's lair):

Day 1) After a long discussion, Dawn had convinced Bug to go on a hunting party with her. He was also given almost royalty treatment, seeing now that he was Officially Dawns Mate.

Day 2) Despite Dawn trying to get her sister NOT to bother Bug with silly little questions, they ended up staying the day together (Ucha and Him). Mostly it consisted of Ucha dressing him up...

Day 3) He spreads rumors

Day 4) He had to calm Dawn down from killing her entire clan and starting over.

Day 5) Sleeping day

Day 6) The hatch caused a lot more attention than anyone would have thought
