She was born on the day without a sun. When the sun disappeared, she was cast out as a witch and destroyer of the land. She left and entered the shadow realm where she finally belonged. When she was setting up her clan, she came across a bright, funny dragon who looked like her and he joined her clan without being afraid of her.

One day, she came across a baby hatchling who was clutching a pearl. Awkwardly, Eclipse stepped forward and offered to bring her into the clan. On the way back home, she decided to find out about this mysterious dragon.

"Hello, dear. Where are you from? Do need to get home?" She asked, concerned for the little hatchling. "You can come to my clan to rest a bit if you like!" Eclipse smiled.

The baby pearlcatcher frantically shook her head, and opened her mouth to speak but no words came out of it. With a shake, she closed her mouth again and marched forward.

Eclipse staring eyes wide at the newly changed hatchling called her Alaria and found out later that she was a pearlcatcher. "Someday you will be leader" Eclipse told Alaria. "You will have all your friends in your clan and these buildings we built from blood."

Eclipse smiled and the shadows darkened...
