Distortion is a sharp-tongued dragon with a penchant for disturbing people. If he can crack a morbid joke, he will. He refuses to enter a long-term relationship, simply saying that his last mate proved that he was never meant to love.

They tried chemicals and plants, herbal remedies passed down from parent to parent. They tried needles and procedures and quarantines, tried ripping out feathers and clawing off skin. They tore me apart and put me back together at your direction, and you looked at me and said "keep going, it's not enough". When they failed again, you fired the doctors and hired a new set to torment me. You said they would make me well, heal me, make me whole.
