Biography
King is best described, in a word, as intense. He feels things extremely deeply, but will never let any soft emotion crack his cool exterior. He is extremely selective about who he trusts, and so far, hasn't warmed up to anyone in the Earthblood clan.. except of course for his mate, Aurasyr.
Originally from the Fire flight, King is quick to act and is no stranger to wrath. He had a rough beginning to life, constantly having to fight for survival, and never had the luxury of granting second chances or forgiveness. No ally seemed to stay by his side for long, either by death or by choice, and so loneliness moved in, along with madness. Often, he could be seen muttering and speaking fully to some unseen presence, and for this reason, other dragons tried to steer clear.
When he met Aurasyr, the Clan warned her away from getting involved with him at first, but she disregarded their warnings, her caring and curious nature taking over. He was hesitant at first, to say the least, but her earnestness and (very obvious) crush on him won him over. Since he met her, he has been much more grounded and steady.
His familiar, the Wendigo, was encountered deep in the forests. The two have a kinship that other dragons don't understand, most dragons preferring to avoid them. Aurasyr helps care for him, and the other dragons give her looks of suspicion when she gives the creature chin-scritches.
The frog perched on his tail is more than he seems. He's only taking the shape of a small frog, when in reality, he's an inter-dimensional being of beyond dragon intelligence, and can shift forms into what others describe as an "eldritch monstrosity". However, he owes a favour to King, and so stays near to him. He'd be lying if he said he has no fondness for the golden dragon, and King now loosely considers him a friend. He is, for all intents and purposes, immortal, and his power is beyond all reckoning. His name is such that dragons cannot pronounce it and can only be spoken by those who know the language of the universe. Aurasyr calls him Phil.
Destined for each other, Aurasyr and King are true soulmates, and rarely are they ever seen apart.
