Sythlar | Defense coördinator Secretive | Cold | Critical
On the tallest mountain in the southern icefields, shielded by a frantic blizzard and hidden away half by secrecy and half by strength, lies a kingdom of ice dragons which have chosen to close themselves away from the world, disdaining of the world around them. Of all these dragons, their queen is Sythlar, the iciest in personality and in person.
One frozen night, however, Sythlar disappeared, sending the self-centered dragons into disarray. Today, all that remains of that once-proud clan is their wise leader, Sythlar, who found a new home among those who held true respect both for themselves and for each other. While she is no longer the leader and queen she once was, she is infinitely better for it. This new clan she'd found was lead by a female Tundra named Ysandre and her mate, Seraph. She'd sustained damage to her wings so the clan's tinkerer fashioned her some braces. They then allowed her to fashion herself a new wardrobe and based on her previous position and renown, they placed her in charge of Clan defense and preservation. Although not as fierce as she once was, she still managed to shelter the lair during the nights and dangerous times. A fact about Sythlar known to at most a handful of dragons is that she is, in fact, not even a true dragon herself. Rather, she's a spirit of snow and ice known as Snowfolk. While nobody knows why she left her home or how she came to rule a clan, her heritage certainly served her well in the field of magic and is the sole reason for why she's capable of doing what she does. It's one of the reasons she cares little for socializing, however. Once, she had belonged Once, she had known Once, she had stood tall and shunned the world away But those days were gone A heart of ice did not need to be a heart of stone The world could be protected from, yet trusted She would choose her own path Find her own way Fly in her own sky With ice at her wing and chill at her breast The blizzard would rage without and no longer within.
