Lilly was born the first to hatch of Fern and Robins first nest, thus deemed the oldest even if only by a few minutes. She has quite a few extremely violent, and hyper-possessive tendencies her lair mates know better than to push her on as they come hand in hand with a hair trigger temper, and a borderline unhealthy dose of paranoia. Lilly and her sibling grew up mostly in the care of Infinity and when he was old enough some times Shade. Lilly though, took a huge shine to Infinity, and as she got older developed a massive crush on the older male that only got bigger when he became a very handsome pearlcatcher. Infinity is the one dragon in the lair Lilly will quite literally drop anything in an instant and do quite literally anything he asks of her, prioritising any of his requests over even her own health.

As a hatchling Lilly displayed a lot of strange tendancies that worried her father. She never, ever felt sated and could eat until her stomach quite literally would not fit another bite, yet still felt near starved. On occasion, Lillys emotions are seen to go flat, or simply turn off, and her morals some times go with them. What finally verrified the tiny faes shade touched status was her aunts foolish attempt to disect her younger mirror sister Iris. Quartz, in her obsession with studying and learning about the shade, had tricked Iris into being drugged and had cut her open when Lilly walked into the room. The ensuing chase had the entire lair in a panic. Lilly shrieked, going into a blind rage and spewed dark tendrils at her aunt who narrowly dodged and fled for her life. Lilly however was damned and determined to catch, kill and eat her. All reason and light leaving the furious little fae. "Quarts had to pay, Quartz had to die" a repeating sound track in her mind as she chased. Fortunately for her aunt, Pine was faster than Lilly, and far more reasonable. He was not about to let his eldest sister become a killer, and revenge was not something he was ready to allow Lilly to get a taste for. Braving the violently slashing and tearing tentacles of shade that Lilly was striking out at everything within reach with, Pine tackled his sister, and getting whipped hard in the eye. The sight of her younger brother brought Lillys rampage to a sudden terrified halt. She'd Hurt Pine. She had hurt her dear little brother. Sobbing and wailing as Pine tried to reassure her that he'd be fine, it was just an eye, and that really it didn't even hurt that bad even while blood streamed down his face and chest from the wound he finally managed to calm her down just as their parents got home.

Shortly therafter Belle also returned, called to return to help Sophie mend poor Pines eye, a wound that left a rather terrible scar across his face, though thanks to Belle he was able to keep the eye. And with the departure of Quartz and the return of Belle from his travels, Melody too was found to have been drugged up and tortured by her aunt. Robin however deemed that they would not seek the little crook out but send her a warning, that if she ever returned, Robin would break her tiny neck herself. With her mothers decree and her fathers sent message, Lilly settled down a bit, and into trying to figure out just what this new ability was. Her father had learned that his father had been shade touched, and he wasn't terribly sure if any of his own siblings had been hit by this curse but after the accident with Pine, it was very clear that Lilly was very VERY shade touched, and inherited something quite powerful. Terrified at the idea that she might again hurt one of her comrades, Lilly decided that she would study both healing and fighting when it was her turn, and settled on learning as much as she could about it in as many texts as she could find in the mean time, as since it had skipped Fern, he hadn't had a prior interest in it, and had assumed that it would not have an effect on his offspring. Thus didn't actually truly know much about the topic.
