Relatives: Her father Mercury and mother Bachata both now serve a higher cause. Owena is the only one of her offspring to not follow their grandparents’ example.

Cylas was often at odds with the Nature flight in which she found herself born. She had a brown, or should she say black, thumb and killed nearly every herb her tutors tried to teach her about. The wild animals scampered away from her as well. She was quick to anger when her magic did not manifest correctly when trying to work in tandem with the natural entities around her. Cylas’ frustration led her to decamp her flight in a huff one day.

Cylas wandered through The Tangled Wood, toying with the idea that maybe she was suited to welcome the shadow into her life. Although she liked to skirt the shadows at times, Shadow did not feel like home. She came upon the Sea of a Thousand Currents, but had not want of exploring the water, so traveled along further and discovered The Scarred Wasteland. She was enthralled by all that was around her here, as she seemed to turn everything she touched to death. But alas, she was not welcomed because those here did not seem to care for those from Nature, whether they wanted to be from there or not. Cylas discovered The Windswept Plateau next. This area seemed too peaceful and the dragons too merry for her. Finally, during her long journey, she stumbled into the Ashfall Waste. She felt other quick-tempers all around her. Sturdy plants and animals that stood up to volcanoes and lava! Maybe they’d stand up to her too! She felt at home at once.

Cylas explored the magma vents and lava flows while learning about the inhabitants of her new home. She made friends with SunsetMoon and was welcomed into Smoldering Sagittaria. Cylas has honed her abilities to sense magical energies and the nature and designs of nearby dragons as a means to protect the safety of Smoldering Sagittaria, as well as the harmony within the Clan. She loves when her powers enable her to keep the Clan calm and working together to build their hoard and treasures.

Cylas’ was first love was Mythica. She had to work to garner Mythica’s affection, but won her over completely in just a short time. Mythica soon felt the call of serving Flamecaller. Cylas was heartbroken for ages. That was until the beautiful Ayda was born into the clan. She watched the silly little tundra grow into a beautiful young woman. She also noticed that the dragon seemed to have a proclivity for foretelling the future. She took her under her wing to help her develop this ability and they soon fell in love. They are inseparable now and you’ll never see one without the other.
