Akenehi is one of three leaders in the clan that protect the lesser dragons from danger. After Amaterasu went into hibernation, she took over as the main provider. She hunts meat for the clan and her young. Once the second-in-command, some think the power has gone to her head. She's prone to violent outbursts. Dragons hate to get on her bad side. She makes it clear that she has little patience for those who make a fool of her. Some suspect she is stained red with the blood of her enemies. Before being exalted, one of her own daughters spread rumours that she committed murder.
