War Monk
A war monk from a land in constant eclipse. Despite his best efforts, his healing has been corrupted by the Shade- as a result, he is commonly considered a savior to Shaded peoples who are refused treatment elsewhere.
Conjurer's Staff
There were many literal and metaphorical 'lights in the darkness' in Morgan's homeworld- taking up the path of the healer meant a heavy pressure of becoming that light to others. Not many were blessed with the ability to knit wounds and mend skin and bone, so Morgan's gift of healing was a gift to all. He was a shepherd and sheepdog to the people he worked with, keeping watch and tending to his fellows.

After returning injured from a rescue mission, it was discovered that the young pearlcatcher had his magic warped by the Shade. While most would have given up their craft, Morgan was no quitter. Rather ingeniously, his efforts shifted from healing the average dragon to visiting the unfortunate Shaded who'd been left to succumb to any wounds or illnesses they'd suffered. It was commonplace to see him walk about the streets of poorer places, offering his services for free in the hopes that it would help someone cease to feel pain.

There were only so many who could be healed, however, and many began to take advantage of Morgan's generosity. Feeling used, he traveled with his sister to a new land where he could spread his gifts without hesitation. Despite having gone their separate ways, he still finds the time to write his sister a letter or two throughout his travels.
