And the two clashing spirits froze, the Fae's mouth twisting into meek smile. Before them descended the Boardkeeper, their ethereal form extending down to the ground before splitting into two. Before the clan stood twin Guardians, the two original keepers of these lands. Upon their faces were scowls, towards the two Players that had done so much wrong. Their voices, the song of an otherworldly being, spoke as one;
"You have gone too far in your game. We had given you a simple task, to test your power, yet you wrenched it out of our control. You attempted to seal us away, to claim this foolish palace for yourself. But now we can do right and take this back and correct your mistakes. Now we have taken back power, and you will do as we command."
With a might smash of her paw, the White Player was forced into a solid form, an ear-splitting scream escaping her as her power was ripped from her.
"No longer shall your immaturity take presence over this board. We will become rule and make it right."

With that final bellow, she marched between the Players, and towards the castle gate.
