And the glass has shattered.
The shriek swung through the air, a castle so empty, so quiet once again tasted what is like to be alive. Broken pieces fell on the floor, shininig with a delicate pale glow. And for a moment there were a movement, for a second there were a sigh so deep and so full of relief. Lights fulled the room, dancing slowly to an unheard waltz.
He was free.
There were no rancor, no grief no soreness. What wounds time could not heal, his mind has let rest forever forgotten. A curse so long running have died at least, freeying the damned soul from it's prison. Immense, so light he have felt. But oh, how difficult it were for a spirit to move on apace, not when it tasted life not less sweet than it once were.
Craving to live, he gave up deserved repose.
Bones started to creak, metal melting with the very glass that once were his prison, now a chance for so longed freedom. And the lights danced to an unheard waltz again, danced and danced until they could no more.
As their shine started to die, a new spark have risen.

Veffera is rather a calm dragon, stoic and not easily bothered. Faithful to his ghostly nature he doesn't give in mortal needs, often forgetting to eat or even breathe. He doesn't let his past life go forgotten although, cherishing living among the mortals as much as he used to when he still had warmth and bumping heart in his chest.
As a undead being his presence is commonly taken as an eerie, uneasy and scary. Though what many admit, also bringing calm and feeling of safety oh so contrasting. Dragons from Lavender's clan quickly learnt that they have nothing to fear from him, his kind and benign nature opening stright way to their acceptance, and hearts.

I think when Veffera moves his body is making a mettalic, swift and eerie high pitched noise of metal muscles. But when he flies, his glassy wings are singing in soft tones, and when wind hits them real symphony is created. Combining these two they are making an eerie melody that brings calm and fear together
