I remember a time when I spent my days wandering about the cliff sides along the sea. Aimlessly searching for something I wasn't even sure existed. It was a deep loneliness, the solitude of constant traveling, the plight of seeking something that's unknown to you. And yet. The day I stumbled upon this place will forever be ingrained into my mind.

A small, young guardian sat at the bottom of one of the cliffs. She tore at the earth with her claws, digging into the wall of stone. Her work was slow, but ever so steady. I watched her from afar for a while. It became clear she was attempting to burrow into the earth to create a safe haven. I glided down and perched myself upon a nearby rock, careful to not startle her. We spoke for a time. She told me she had just burst into existence from the magic of the sea. A few of her scales still forming from various shells. Without hesitation the female turned to me and asked one simple question of me with a fire in her eyes that I'll never forget.

``Do you wish to stay with me and help me build a new home?``

And there it was. The thing I had been searching for. That something that I had wanted this whole time. A home
