Biography

Aged Tome Battered Book of Fables Owlcat Journal Intact Parchment Snow Streak Pinion Scroll Case Empty Inkwell
Ariolo has always loved books. It is perhaps for this reason that he named himself the clan scholar almost immediately following the moment he found a book underneath a piece of cloth in the clan matriarch's personal belongings. It mattered little to him that he couldn't, in fact, actually read, but he learned very quickly that scholarly studies did not always demand that particular skill. He took to studying rocks and insects and wind patterns (when Glacia allowed him near the lair entrance), and when he finally grew into his gangly frame he flew from one end of the Crimson territory to the other in search of whatever knowledge he could find.

His excursions quickly expanded to encompass all of the Tangled Wood, which neighboring clans allowed so long as he asked before just taking things as he was so often wont to do. It wasn't until he found an ancient and crumbling tome at the edge of the Wood, just before the land opened up to reveal the Sunbeam Ruins, that he decided he wanted to learn how to read. Caerulea, a Pearlcatcher only one month his senior, offered to teach him as Glacia had taught her, beginning an awkward relationship between the two young dragons that would one day grow into a friendship that bonds the two like siblings.

In short, the Skydancer learned to read, quite proficiently in fact, and now sits in the corner of the lair closest to the entrance in what he calls his library, pouring over texts of all manner, including his own scholarly authorships. He enjoys geology, entomology, and meteorology, but his passion lies, as it always has, in his books.

Made the mistake of previewing this guy in crystal. What have I done...

I've had this guy since he was a tiny hatchie. He was one of my very first dragons, so I think he deserves a little special treatment. He'll be the first of my dragons that'll get crystal :)

EDIT: It's done!!!
