Biography:
Minerva is often considered the clan's matriarch, as she deals with many of the tasks a leader would, but until recently, the Quarry had no official leader. Many have made calls for a President to be elected, specifically to elect Minerva, because the size of the Quarry was starting to make its direct democracy more and more unsustainable. Minerva was hesitant to approve of such action, but she started accepting that it may be inevitable. Because of the eventuality, Minerva hosted the elections of president. It is no surprise that Minerva won almost unanimously. There are, however, no formal laws regarding the process yet such as term limits or checks and balances. Minerva and other clan leaders have developed written law, but there is no charter and there is no constitution.

Minerva herself is a skilled speaker and diplomat as well as a mage. Minerva uses her magic to understand the rules that govern nature and the world around her, which in turn allows her to effect it, enabling her to understand even more. Minerva is especially fond of manipulating force and gravity.

Minerva is the mate to Orion, though they have a rather open relationship. The two often experiment in the attempt to test their affection for one another, and so far, over the nearly century and a half they have been together, they continue to share a love for one another. Minerva and Orion have an adopted son in the clan named Oda.

Alongside Minerva are several dragons considered elders due to their wisdom and/or political power: Ryzolli, Arnskar, Bacchus, Orion, Nyura, and Mecca.
