Proctor Orious

^{Orious (Prononced Oh-rye-us) is an incredibly stern and imposing ridgeback, with a cold stare and and colder personality. She has a strict no-nonsense policy, especially when it comes to her workplace, and often has to be the one to break up court drama.

Job

^{Being the proctor, it is Orious's job to write, review and update the laws of the clan. She is a strict enforcer and also manages the punishments of anyone to break said laws, after the accused has presented their defence to the entire court and a vote has deemed them guilty. On a tied vote, Orious has the final say.}

History

^{Orious was one of the first dragons to ever settle at Neverspine, as well as her chosen family, a travelling group of four earth ridgebacks. She watched as the clan grew, and was one of the dragons who supported the idea of forming the clan and appointing Of The Fallen Skies and West Winds, the rightful owners of the land, as clan leaders. She was quite surprised by the formation of the council, but found it welcome and necessary, as it turns out the wild dragons raised alone weren't adept in the skills necessary to run a clan. Orious had studied law previously, so she knew what she was doing and was happy to join.

She did not, however, expect the council to be almost as incompetent as the leaders. Half the council is too busy arguing with each other to get anything done, and gradually everything has been falling apart, with one certain council member falling into an alcoholic rock bottom, one leader coming apart at the seams from stress and the other too invested in their hobbies, plus the horror lurking below the clan on everyone's mind... Orious has appointed it her job to keep the council together.

Orious has taken an interest in the shrouded past of the clan before Neverspine. She often, and in secret, visits the ruins with Arbiter Ryne to investigate and try to uncover the truth.}

^{If the amber-trapped insects in Orious's amber flourish weren't clue enough, Orious has a pretty big interest in insects. She likes to collect them in cases, pinned on display, and keeps a few live specimens as pets. This is one such pet. It doesn't come out of its enclosure often, except when Orious is showing it off to someone or admiring/studying it.}
