Daiquiri always saw himself as a Wind dragon. He wanted desperately to be carefree and do nothing but float around and play panpipes all day. However, he was born into a proud Lightning family who saw great potential in him as an inventor and his fantasy was quickly dismissed. His parents pushed him to work hard and raise his position as an electrician, but Daiquiri irresponsibly ran a broken lightening coil and it exploded, costing him his job and life in the Shifting Expanse. He was ran out, and while his good-natured parents tried their best to argue his case, he decided for himself that he needed to go.

For a while he adventured throughout the Windswept Plateau, causing all kinds of trouble and performing music and tricks for local clans, but after a while he met Jasper and Jet, two Tundra teens who were making their way to the Abiding Boneyard. He found their goals interesting: to have wild desert rock concerts in the middle of one of the deadliest parts of Sornieth, and he tagged along. Discovering Daiquiri's love for music, Jasper and Jet made him a part of their band and he plays keyboard, harp, lute, and any other instrument that they need.

Now he is a member of the Strays, but he frequently goes on adventures outside of the mapped territory of the Flights, even going as far as the mysterious land of Valkemare where strange new breeds of dragons live.
