B I O G R A P H Y

Dianthus has two loyalties: one to his clan, and the other to the love of his life. Unfortunately for him, his lover Fluerin lives in a completely different clan within the Tangled Wood. Rather than forcing themselves to see other dragons or move to the same territory, the lovers made the decision to have a long distance relationship; their allied clans permit the two of them to visit each other, and they send letters to one another during the time they spend apart.

While he is a formidable opponent, Dianthus isn't especially fond of fighting; he only resorts to violence as a last resort, making him ideal to have as an inter-clan ambassador. While he most often deals with his lover Fluerin's clan, he has also been asked by Mykonos for assistance on dealing with other clans, and has helped to make many alliances. When not travelling as an ambassador or discussing with the clan's Council, Dianthus acts as one of the clan archivists.

Dianthus is co-owned by Trio and loratyu. He and his mate Fluerin are transferred back and forth between our clans for breeding. Dianthus's primary residence is Trio's clan, while Fluerin primarily belongs to loratyu's clan.

▸ Fluerin: Dianthus's Mate. They met during the early stages of their clans' alliance, and their relationship ended up having a positive influence on the alliance negotiations. The two travel back and forth between their clans to see each other often, and occasionally act as note-passers for their respective clan leaders.

▸ Sidereal and Radiance: Dianthus's children who live within the same clan as him. He is closest to them of all of his children, as he sees them on a regular basis. He is especially close with Radiance, who has always been the more shy and dependent of the two.

▸ Yin: Dianthus's adoptive son. He loves Yin just as much as Radi and Side, although Yin isn't as close to Fluerin and the rest of their family.

▸ The Council: A group of dragons in charge of helping the Isolde Clan matriarch, Mykonos, to make important decisions. Dianthus is a member, and primarily helps with decisions involving inter-clan relations.

▸ Food: He likes plants and seafood best. Crystal Jellyfish are his favorite. He dislikes red meat.

▸ Colors: He prefers cool colors. His favorites are blue and purple.

▸ Pastimes: Dianthus enjoys gardening and spending time with his family. He also likes to read and listen to the clan's storytellers and bards.

▸Season: He likes late spring best. His least favorite season is fall, because the plant-life has all died but there's not yet any snow on the ground to make it pretty out.

▸Beasts: Dia likes deer-like species, especially Perytons.
