Biography
Saersa The Shy Poet Searching for mate Permanent Saersa speaks the best draconic of all the coatls in the clan - save Faer - but you would never guess it. This small coatl stays all but completely silent, speaking only when she must or is with close friends. Her introversion kept her from getting too close to her clanmates, but the kind-hearted Eniya appealed to her softer side; the two slowly became close friends. Despite her silent dissposition, Saersa's finds fufillment in writing poetry. She can often be found at the edge of a lake on the border of the territory, writing classical Coatl script while her familiar Tixr watches on. |
History
Saersa wandered down from the mountains where she was born at a young age. The clan she came from was impressive and large, full of all sorts of dragons. Everything overwhelmed the hatchling, from the daily clammer of her clanmates to the heavy winds the swept through the mountains. Her parents saw how nervous their reserved child was near other hatchlings and clatter, and suggested she moved beyond the mountains. The idea of leaving on her own was just as terrifying as the noise, but in the end Saersa packed a small bag and clammered down the cliffs. After days of wandering, the young coatl found herself in a dense, verdent pine forest. She followed a small stream through the trees til she ran head on into a massive guardian that accidentally knocked her backward. The elderly dragon's slow, kind voice calmed her nerves in the same way this forest did. Windstorm, seeing that the hatchling was on her own, invited Saersa to visit the clan and perhaps spend the night. As she entered the clearing, the eyes of the other dragons made Saersa freeze, but Windstorm's gentle guidance held her upright until she was deep within the caves. That night, the only sounds that entered her little cave were the babble of the stream and gentle murmurs of other dragons. She slept soundly for the first time in her life.

Eniya was the first dragon Saersa ever went out of her way to spend time with. Although the large imperial was usually bubbly and talkative, she instantly sensed Saersa's nerves and adapted quickly. The two girls can often be seen sitting together, Eniya reading and Saersa writing. Saersa often reads her poetry to Eniya, knowing the imperial couldn't understand what she was saying. This was a good thing, because as of late, her writings have been about Eniya's mate, Antilla. The guilt of her attraction eats the coatl alive, but she can't help but look just a little too long when the imperial and wildclaw were together. Saersa may be introverted to the extreme, but that doesn't curb her deep desire for romance. |
