Early Days:
Scrimshaw was hatched into a clan full of skydancers. The first dragon she saw was a brilliant blue, like herself. The skydancer looked over Scrimshaw for her siblings. Scrimshaw watched as the dragons eyes passed with indifference. Until they found the dragon they were looking for, a hatchling with a wide range of blue, from dark to light, the colors of the ocean. Scrimshaw was overlooked and pushed to the bottom of the food chain. She left the clan often in search of extra food.

On one particular outing Scrimshaw was snatched
