Max the Cat is a very good boy. He belonged to a former professor of religious studies at Macalester and could often be found wandering about campus. He recently became famous because of his habit of sneaking into buildings, particularly the library. All he wants is love from the students and maybe a feline mystery novel but with allergies and the fear of him getting locked in overnight signs needed to be posted telling students not to let him in, no matter how much he wanted to join in the study session.

I was lucky enough to have him wander into my science class once! Little was achieved that lecture time to say the least.

I also made him a catnip-stuffed chicken out of scrap fabric from the library and was able to personally deliver it to him as a farewell present before his cat daddy got a job at another college and had to move away. He seemed to like it and was very photogenic as I snapped some pictures.
