• definitely did not volunteer to be the on-board doctor for a nasty bunch of pirates, but here they are. There might have been a mild kidnapping incident • usually wears a mask when the crew docks, because he’s hoping his reputation won’t be completely tarnished whenever he’s finally able to escape and remake his life on land • their situation is certainly less than ideal, but they’re trying to make the most of it while they’re stuck • at the very least, he has some sway on the ship, as the pirates have to be nice to him. If he’s intimidated into working, he’s not going to do a good job of it, and no sane doctor with any other options is going to tend to a lot of cutthroats • .... he doesn’t push *too* much, though, lest the pirates decide its more effective to simply have him replaced • ol’ tyrant Cenric isn’t big on crew bonding activities, but thankfully, Lorem has found a few good eggs amongst the ruffians and thugs. Most notable is Charlie, who’s had their back since day one • Lorem and Charlie spend much of their free time hiding away to chat and play games and otherwise take a moment to rest. • a strong appreciator of music, Lorem is usually found humming a tune under his breath • liker of pretty hand fans. They only had a pair on them when taken in by the pirates, but Charlie has made an effort to find more to gift them whenever the ship docks
