A long-time member of the Night Watch. She is an inelegant fighter, with little formal skill or restraint, but she makes up for that with sheer force of will, often flying into a berserk rage in battle. In such a state, Morrigan will not stop until she is forced to, either by wounds or by sheer exhaustion- she often has to be restrained so that she'll wear herself out. Her lack of discipline in battle annoys Persephone, but Morrigan pushes herself hard to stay in line the rest of the time. Fierce and bad-tempered, she rarely talks without shouting or at least growling.

Many would correctly assume she has severe anger management issues, as Morrigan's temper is a ticking time bomb liable to be set off by the drop of a hat, but the true source of these issues is a tad recherché. She has always been irritable and hot-headed, but her anger worsened when as a young dragon of the Ashfall Waste she was attacked by a rampaging monster, mindless and wrathful. Even the beasts that lurk in places like the Mire did not suffer from such sheer fury. The beast was Shade-touched to an alarming degree, and though it was weak it was ferocious. Young Morrigan managed to defeat the thing, but she was affected by its vile malady.

Ever since, she too has had to live with the evil influence of the Shade. It took an already-aggressive Mirror and turned her into an eternally enraged berserker. The worst part is, Morrigan is aware of this. She naturally possesses an impressive amount of willpower and fortitude, and resists the Shade as much as she can. But her constant internal struggle, coupled with her terror of being found and fear of losing control in an even worse way, simply make her even more irritable. Morrigan doesn't trust herself, and hopes that letting out some of her aggression by fighting in the Watch will ease the burden- violent as she is, Morrigan fights because she needs to, not because she has a passion for it. She very nearly turned down her promotion to captain because of her condition, but eventually accepted, and hand-picks all of her patrollers to ensure that they will be strong and reasonable enough to keep her from going too far.

Her actual hobbies are numerous and varied, mostly because she flits from one to the other very quickly; so far cooking's the only one she's been able to stick with and get good at. She hoped that finding something that could distract or relax her would also help with her problem. More often than not, rather than calming down, she ends up the beating batter like it's another enemy on the battlefield.
